This days blog entry is only a short one. It's a feature from the "at last"-department. Until Solaris 11.4 it always uncessary indirect to find out which SRU you are running. With 11.4 there is a really simple way to do so:

jmoekamp@batou:~$ uname -v
11.4.6.4.0
jmoekamp@batou:~$

The version string is constructed like this: 11.<update>.<sru>.<build>.<reserved>. So i'm running Solaris 11, SRU 6, the fourth build.
